Dr. Apoorva Kanhere is one of the most credentialled cardiac surgeons in Gujarat, with a career spanning over three decades and training at some of the world's leading cardiac surgical centres.
He completed his MCh in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Christian Medical College, Vellore, earning the University Gold Medal. He subsequently obtained the FRCS from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, followed by subspecialty fellowships at Royal Perth Hospital in Australia, the Royal Liverpool Children's Hospital, and King's College Hospital in London.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Kanhere served as Assistant Professor of Cardiac Surgery at U.N. Mehta Institute of Cardiology in Ahmedabad before moving into full-time clinical practice.
Dr. Kanhere is associated with Apollo CVHF as a visiting senior consultant, bringing his considerable experience to complex surgical cases, particularly adult congenital disease, redo surgery, and pulmonary thromboendarterectomy.
